What is a Utah Housing Corporation Loan?

If cash at closing is your challenge, a Utah Housing Corporation Down Payment Assistance* Second Mortgage can help. When combined with our first mortgage, qualified borrowers can purchase a home with little or no cash at closing.

To obtain down payment assistance from Utah Housing you must first qualify for a Utah Housing Corp first mortgage home loan. Scott Buehler, a Utah Housing Corp Approved Participating Lender, will qualify you, determine how much down payment and closing cost assistance you need and help you select an optimal program for the lowest mortgage payment.

You may be able to borrow your entire minimum required down payment plus all or a portion of your closing costs on a UHC 30-year fixed rate second mortgage.

Utah Housing fiscal year ended June 30, 2020. As of that date, they were able to provide loans for over 4,000 individuals and families, representing over $1 billion in mortgages! Scott Buehler is proud to have represented several borrowers in that overall number.
