We’re getting our first major snowstorm right now. 2AM and I just did a little back yard shoveling while it is light and easy to move. The front of our house melts quickly but the back, which is shaded from the house, doesn’t. I want the kids to be able to use the basement door to enjoy the fun tomorrow morning.

Woohoo, how exciting. I hope we end up with a white Christmas. If not, I’ll remember the snow we are getting right now. Last year, they didn’t get a good snow here in Cedar until a day after Christmas. So it is already looking up for our first Christmas here.

Looks to be at least 3-4 inches so far with heavy snowfall still continuing.
