Upgrading

Hi all. I’m upgrading my gallery / wordpress installations. It was all very outdated so I figured I’d get with the times (they seem to change every week!).

An Experiment – Billy Lyon

Scott | August 29, 2006 2:07 am

This is an experiment to see if I can find Billy Lyon of Barstow, California via google search keywords.

Billy James Lyon, where are you? How are you?

Billy Lyon has a cousin Daniel Sessler who lives (or used to live) at or near Palm Springs, California.

Billy Lyon’s mom’s maiden name is Janice Villnow who married (and divorced) my dad William A. Buehler, Jr. Her current last name is unknown.

Were you part of the Villnow family of Newberry Springs? Someone out there must know.

Someone who knows Billy Lyon, Janice Buehler, Janice Villnow, Colleen Villnow, Daniel Sessler, or other cousins related, contact me please?

I’m easily reached: scott –at (@)– scottbuehler.com

I can’t find any of these people on networking websites like MySpace (My Myspace Space) or through searches via google.com or msn.com.

The Art of Backwards

This is a very cool video that makes it appear as though the guys are creating piles of rocks and other structures without even touching them.

Obadiah Parker

Have you guys seen this yet? This is a cover for the Outkast song “Hey Ya!” and I think it is better than the original.

Here’s to hoping the embedded video works on this software.

It’s time to uninstall Norton Antivirus

Scott | August 16, 2006 2:20 pm

Yep, being a long time fan of the Norton line of products, I officially hate Norton Antivirus and hope everyone uninstalls and switches to a new antivirus product.

Did you kow Norton Antivirus is now sub-par in virus detection compared to other brands? Take a look!

Once I uninstalled Norton Antivirus from my computer and installed NOD32, my computer runs way faster than ever before. That’s right, huge difference! NOD32 has such a small footprint on your system resources, you will easily see an improvement on your computer’s responsiveness.

I hope anyone who reads this considers changing. I will never install another Symantec product again for myself or anyone I help that has computer issues.

Do you own research and you’ll find many are leaving the Symantec line of products in favor of the cheap/free alternatives out there that actually do a much better job.

Yay! I’m going to Barstow

Scott | 2:09 pm

Just a heads up, I’ll be in Barstow, CA for 1 to 2 weeks.

Redesigned an old site. Check it out.

Ok, I’m finally getting back into the swing of things and started actually working once again.

I spent the last couple of days rewriting my website Make Money Central from the ground up. Take a look at it, you might learn something. Click here!

If you are interested in learning what I do online, just take a look at this website. Thanks!

Check this out! Pandora.com

I love browsing the net and pointing out cool stuff to the friends and family who actually view this site once a year or more. LOL. As far as I know, nobody reads it because nobody ever emails me.

Anyways, I came across this cool site today called Pandora. The site is part of the Music Genome Project. Pandora walks you through a process to find you bands and music like what you already love and listen to today.

All you do is give it a band or song and go from there. It looks up your query and then gives you some specifics about your selection and then proceeds to play you music like it! I’ll be spending hours on this tonight. Try it!
